A New Publication: LIVING AND LEARNING IN A YOLNGU WORLD.

This is a new publication LIVING AND LEARNING IN A YOLNGU WORLD: RECOLLECTIONS AND REFLECTIONS, written by Beth Graham.

The book is available for sale through ATESOL NT.

Beth spent many years working in and for the Bilingual Programs in remote Indigenous Schools in the NT. Her latest book,  is an insightful look into the growth of cross-cultural and intercultural revelations by one who began, as we all do, from our own cultural world views. This book explores her experiences as she developed to a position of respect and honour towards other world realities, in this case, the Yolngu World. Children across the World have the human right to learn from the basis of  their own culture and language. Beth reflects on this as the Bilingual Programs in the NT continue to struggle and decline, after many successful years of operation and from 1974 to 1999.

All sales proceeds go to the author, Beth Graham.
